One Aldwych Hotel
One Aldwych Hotel with 130 bedrooms is a 5-star hotel in the heart of London. The key word on this project was flexibility.
A conventional gravity drainage system would have placed severe constraints on room layout, with loss of valuable floor space. The Evac system allowed designers to position the toilets in the most convenient position, suitable for individual bathroom layouts. Ten years later the vacuum system is still fully operational and brings water saving benefits. It has been estimated that during the time of operation the Evac solution has saved 5 million liters of water.
